Public gatherings are restricted to 75% of the total occupancy of the State Fire Marshal, and requires a six (6) foot minimum of social distancing, limiting the public seating area for the Rapides Parish Police Jury meeting to 28 members of the public, on a first come basis, in accordance with Phase II restrictions.

Motion to adopt a resolution supporting state and/or federal emergency declarations associated with potential flooding associated with Hurricane Laura and calling for the leveling of the Dixie Pipeline Spoil Banks which impedes the drainage of water in the Atchafalaya Basin and authorize the President to sign necessary paperwork.   4. Motion to enter into an agreement with Richard’s Bush-Hogging Services, to mow the levees at Cotile, Kincaid and Indian Creek, two times per year for a charge of $9,400.00 per time, for a total of $18,800.00, per Quote No. 2001, to begin as soon as possible. (Public Works 10/5)
